I am not a feminist and that is okay article
An online college publication called the Odyssey recently published an article titled " I am not a feminist and that is okay." The article basically stated that the author was fine with being a stay at home mom, and a submissive wife. The most problematic portion of the article was the underlying sense that being a feminist is a bad thing. Her original intent may have not been to say that, but her content proved otherwise. This article illuminates that unfortunately there are many misconceptions about feminism, and that it is still frowned upon in the eyes of many women!

There are so many misconceptions regarding feminism. Wanting to be a housewife/ stay at home mom is perfectly fine, as long as you acknowledge that it is a choice, and other women can make the choice to do something different. Deciding to be a stay at home mom does not make you not a feminist.
