Who We Are

When you mention the term "proud Black man", the definition can range all over because there is no true measure of a proud black man. Your definition is determined by your environment and what you see every day. To me a proud black man, is one who provides for his family and put others before himself , in effort to change his surroundings. This includes those who are lower-class, but have an effect in changing other lives. Other would only use examples like President Obama, Lebron James and local businessman. To the kids in urban communities, it may be coaches, role models or local hood stars. Being a black male, you come into the world facing certain limitations and problems, that many other races never face.
