NY Restricts Public-Employee Travel To NC
New York has joined along with Seattle, San Fran, and New York in restricting non-essential employee travel to North Carolina following the newly passed North Carolina state law that is discriminatory to the LGBT community. Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York has ordered restriction regarding "all taxpayer-funded trips to North Carolina, unless they're essential to public health or law enforcement." This NY state executive order took effect immediately and requires a review of all requests for state-funded business travel to the state of New York. It will be quite interesting to see how all of this pans out for the state and to see where this will lead in the end regarding various states.
