Each week CNN publishes an online article called "This Week in Pictures." One major story from this week was the violence that broke out during a KKK protest in Anahiem, California. Counterproters came to the protest and violence occured - 5 people were injured and 13 people were arrested. A CNN journalist shot this picture:

Here, we see a counterprotester struggling with a member of the KKK. I think it is important to note that the counter protester is African American.
A lot can be dicussed about this picutre...I think that it is important that the media shares these images with us. This is a prime example of the perpetual raceism that haunts our country...when will we all be able to call the American flag a true symbol of the land of the free and home of the brave?
