CNN hosts clash over Trump's KKK comments

Donald Trump is once again making headlines with his outrageous views. In a recent interview, Trump refused to condemn the KKK or grand-wizard David Duke. By not taking a stance against the KKK, Trump isn't refusing to condemn racism or white supremacy. In a Tuesday CNN piece, Jeffrey Lord and Van Jones got into a heated conversation over Trump's comments, or lack thereof. Jones, who is black, sees Trump's views as extremely problematic and toxic. Lord, a white man and former Reagan staffer, goes on to suggest that Jones should be more educated on civil rights. The irony that a white man is telling a black man to educate himself on race illustrates privilege on the media. Trump is certainly drawing lines, and using his privilege to do so.
