FBI: ISIS inspired California student in campus stabbings
This is a CBS article about a supposed ISIS inspired attack on UC Merced students. The infuriating thing about this article is that the only evidence that they have pertaining to him doing the attack is the fact that he was visiting ISIS related websites for a couple weeks prior to the attack. They say that he was self-motivated but still connected to ISIS due to his internet activity. This student has a look that America has condemned throughout the years as relating it to terrorists. This article embodies how American media aids in perpetuating the struggle with terrorism. The media is always eager to post a picture of a brown skinned individual linked with some act of violence or perceived terrorism.
