Former Mississippi State students joining ISIS?

Former Mississippi State chemistry major Jaelyn Young- who had been a high school cheerleader, honor student and homecoming maid- pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to one count of conspiring to provide material support to ISIS. She'll be sentenced at a later date where she is facing up to 20 years. Young's family was shocked after receiving a letter from her stating that she converted to Islam and to not try to look for her because she is carrying out a plan for an "organization". Young joined her Muslim boyfriend to their departure to Syria but was arrested at the airport where they tried boarding. Authorities began tracking Young and Dakhalla in May when the couple contacted undercover federal agents for help traveling to Syria.
