J Lo says, "I ain't your mama!"
This week J Lo broke the barriers of intersectionality when she released her new song, "Ain't Your Mama". This song has become a women's empowerment anthem already. The song sends a message to men that a woman's role in society does not solely evolve around motherhood and that women can achieve the same levels of success as men in the world today. She gave a preview to fans on her Instagram earlier this week and performed the anthem on the American Idol finale. http://www.bet.com/news/music/2016/04/07/jennifer-lopez-has-a-message-for-men-everywhere-in-new-power-ant.html

Watched her performance on idol last night! I texted my mom right away saying "this is so feminist!". I loved the line, "Not going to do your laundry, I ain't yo mama". I love the message this song has.
