On the campus of John Carroll University a " mock border wall" has been put up. This wall was created as a senior project to showcase stories and statistics about the countries policies on immigration. Following day after the wall was put up it was vandalized by Trump supports and put up their own signs and also chalked the campus. The day after Trump supporters had vandalized the fence there was a debate between the Trump supports and Latino students. I find it interesting the this wall being placed on campus was approved. I also find it disturbing that Trump supporters are interfere with academic institutions and sparking controversy between the students. I will be interested to what happens next with this wall and if it actually accomplishes what it was meant to do.
Wow, I can't believe I didn't hear about this before. This is extremely interesting. The rhetoric surrounding Donald Trump is extremely disturbing, and I hope more people act out against it.
