Alarming Facts about PD

There has been an ongoing theme that the PD is showing no regard for the lives of African Americans and Latinos. Much quantitative evidence is being collected to demonstrate this.  About 74% more shots have been fired at African Americans than whites/asians, in Chicago, the numbers are in the thousands. There are more false arrests and wrongful convictions. These are all behavioral aspects of racial bias and there is no movement to combat this issue in the police department. Implicit bias and ultimate attribution error are the strongest proponents to this snap decisions to shoot. The police suffer this mentality whether consciously or subconsciously that African Americans are always a threat. The anger and hate they brew clouds their judgments from being rational to being racial.
