Film Boycott

Last week Georgia legislators passed a bill protecting religious officials from having to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies. This bill will also allow faith based organizations to deny service or employment to those that the feel violate their religious beliefs. Governor Deal has not signed nor vetoed this bill yet, but Marvel and Disney both said that if the bill is signed that they will move business elsewhere. This would be a big deal because Georgia is becoming the production Hub of the south. If this bill is passed it will spark a good amount of controversy because it gives some business and restaurants and all other corporations the option on who they want to serve. Putting that option in the hands of the people wouldn't be the best idea because there is already so much hate and negative actions towards the LGBT community this will just add more.
