Tennessee, anti-transgender bathroom bill

The argument TN makes to justify the bill is to protect transgender students from being sexually assaulted in bathrooms of their gender identity. However, there is no evidence of an increase of this in schools. The big bathroom myth is that if transgender people start using the bathroom the gender they identify with, men will take advantage and sexually assault women. This shows the power of politicians and oppression over the minority population of LGBTQ in a classic case of hegemony. The following chart gives evidence to that.
