Native Americans Try on Halloween Costumes
Buzzfeed came out with another video that I have found on my timeline on Facebook. It shows four different Indians wearing Halloween costumes of Native Americans. They just can't help but laugh while they are wearing these outfits that have no historical or ritual context. They feel ashamed to be wearing these outfits because they are so inappropriate and rude to the Native American culture. These stereotypes need to stop, starting with Halloween costumes and being culturally respectable.

I have seen this video and prior to being in this course I have never thought about the offense that dressing up as an Indian would cause. Now being aware of these things makes you think twice about how people feel, whether they know better or not.
