Pat Haden getting too much media coverage

University of Southern California's Athletic Director, Pat Haden, has been getting media coverage in the past week. He is retiring at the end of this school year which was no surprise because he had lots of drama with the football program. They fired their head coach in the middle of the season and Pat Haden was seen having difficulty to breathe at one of the games and was escorted to the locker room. All of this pressure is obviously impacting his health. This week he was sent to the hospital after collapsing on campus. I personally don't know why information like this is on social media right now. It is so irrelevant to anyone outside of the USC family. But the real reason why he has social media coverage is because he is a rich, white, old man. It is people like him that are the television producers and this is a great example of the hierarchy in social media today.

This is a picture of Pat Haden collapsing at a football game last season on the sidelines.

This is the group of people helping him to the locker room to check up on him.
