Tomi Lahren...

For those of you who do not recognize this name, it is probably for the best because this young lady, and I do mean young. Has garnered the attention of American's through online media. But not the funny, "let me tag my friend media, or let me make a meme media;" but online news media that is surprisingly a growing industry. But anyway, back to the original point. I am writing this blog post, because Tomi Lahren has garnered the attention of the social and broadcast world because of the conservative comments she made toward Beyonce's super bowl performance. She said things like, "your husband's a drug dealer," and "you promoted and celebrated a group that tried to overthrow white domination." Really... But then again this is the same person who criticized Barack Obama for being "too friendly" to Muslims calling him a S.O.B on national television. While saying he promotes Islamic extremism. But I can't too much blame her. After all she is only 23 YEARS OLD!!! But then again that goes back to the film we watched in class Miss Representation. As long as you are "hot" with white skin and blonde hair, then you can get your own show. Completely negating the content in which you speak on national television or even online news. Which, like we learned in class, are where majority of people get their information. But also it shows young girls what the idea standard of beauty is for someone who wants to be on television.
