Idris Elba and James Bond moive part

A few months ago Idris Elba had been mentioned about playing the role of James Bond, a historically white male role. Idris Elba is a Black British born actor that was played a multitude of roles and when his name was mentioned to potentially play James Bond, Avid James Bond fans found it ridiculous. Rush Limbaugh shared with his audience of the "Rush Limbaugh Show" a leaked email which Sony pictures entertainment Co-Chairman Amy Pascal reportedly wrote that "But now [they are] suggesting that the next James Bond should be Idris Elba, a black Briton, rather than a white from Scotland," he continued. "But that's not who James Bond is, and I know it's racist to probably point this out." many media outlets covered this story and shared this email with their audiences. this just shows that racism is alive in Hollywood when it comes to black actors playing certain roles.
