Future the rapper attacked his ex-fiance on twitter a couple weeks ago. He called her a controlling b*tch and mentioned how she is keeping him away from their son. She is now suing him for 15 million dollars because he slandered her name. This ties in to masculinity in media because the media (including myself) jumped on Future's side. I am sure Ciara has a solid story but just the fact that he said she is keeping him from his child and is male makes him valid in this argument. The fans are also turning on Ciara, telling her to allow him to see his son. I am pretty sure the media had a role in her filing a lawsuit. He also displayed hegemony when he cussed her out on twitter like that, showing male dominance in media.
