Bernie Sanders' latest campaign video VoteTogther
Bernie Sanders' latest campaign video is dealing with race and gender head on. The opening lines of this video say " Our job is not to divide but come together". this quote is followed up by images of everyday Americans of different races and genders. After the pictures are shown they are then ripped in half separating their faces into two different pieces. The separating of the faces is symbolic because later in the video you see these faces again and you see half of one persons face attached with another. Different genders and races are attached together to symbol the togetherness that we as a country should have, regardless of our race gender or sexual orientation we should be together and not let our differences cause a dividing line. The ad was effective to me because it was representing many different types of people in the concept of togetherness dealing particularly with race and gender. Bernie Sanders' Campaign video

From looking at this video reminds me of framing where it was a strategic plan to organize and present events and issues. Bernie Sanders has been going strong throughout the whole presidential run where he still holds credibility which he hasn't lost any at all. In my opinion the video is used to allow the audience to interpret their own ideas in which it was given. Using this specific presentation is very symbolic because it shows unity within the race and gender. Bernie Sanders' goal throughout his campaign was pushing for the equivalence amongst races.
