The Spark Begun by Trayvon Martin

Today is the birthday of Trayvon Martin, who was controversially and tragically killed by a police officer while walking home late one night.  His death sparked the movement that has become the #blacklivesmatter movement.  He was allegedly profiled for his race and his clothing before getting into a scuffle with George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch man.  He is one of the top trends on social media now, even four years after his death.  It goes to show you how power of his death  and its effect on had on America.  It woke up a great number of people to the problem and divide that still exists in the country.  Tomorrow is the 4th Annual Trayvon Martin Peace Walk that his mother puts on to continue to voice the problem of profiling and racism that unfortunately still exists in America.
