A man who has been known to blog about the legalization of rape is holding a a global conference on Saturday so that his followers can discuss the "cause."
Daryush Valizadeh blogs for a site called, Return of Kings, which advocates for "neomasculinity," aka men's supremacy over women. He has also written books that are currently available on Amazon which discuss why he thinks rape should be legal on private property.
Valizadeh will head to Australia this weekend to host the global online conversation about the legalization of rape.
He has started a twitter uproar - and news outlets are horrified by his ideology.

ReplyDeleteI worry about what this will do for the media's perception of people from the middle east. He has a darker complexion, black hair, and a name that originates from the middle east. Stories like this, which stem from one troubled individual, can create and perpetuate stereotyping issues for entire groups of people.
